Fart Power: How To Turn a Fart Into Energy

A whole new meaning to Wind Power.  This fart video demonstrates how you can turn a fart into energy.

Our question is, is this fart fact or fart fiction?  There seems to be a bit of controversy on the web about this as we found at www.Scam.com:  Here are some comments taken from Scam about this methane marvel:

"Magic trick for sure. 

1) Any potential difference would rather move through the can lid rather than the motor

2) The glass in an insulator. Any effect from the flame on the glass would be delayed by several seconds if not minutes.

Sorry, but theres a battery in there somewhere."

"Only way I can think of it working is if the can lid were an insulator, the two screws are zinc and copper, and the gas in jar is somehow acting as an electrolyte facilitating the transfer of electrons from one screw to the other - same way a potato battery works (The fart isn't providing the energy, though, the screws are). I don't know whether or not methane could act as an electrolyte, I very, very, very much doubt it, so it is probably a trick."
