Longest Fart: A 23 sec. Fart Caught on Video

Well, it's not the longest fart in history (we've seen evidence around the web stating the the longest fart is 2 min and 42 seconds - which seems a little hard to believe) .. but this ripper is certainly long enough to keep you in awe.  Found on You Tube this funny fart video captures someone farting for 23 seconds.  Is this flatulence real or fake?  Whatchya think?

Google Patents: Farts or Parts?

Google Patent Search can't seem to get their "F's" and "P's" straight:

Fart humor... you know we've got it!  We're constantly on the prowl for great fart related material and it never ceases to amaze us what you can find on the internet. 

Today we were purusing around at Digg for some great fart related content and there is a story that talks about the new Google Patent Search.  The entry titled, "Crazy Inventions From Google Patents" talks about all the zany inventions that people can find that people have patented... including the Fart Deodorizer Pad.

So of course, seeing as how much fun we like to have with farts we thought we'd do a search on Google Patents to see what kind of fart related products show up that people have patented.  And an we saw something really interesting.  No, not any good juicy fart products... but we found that whoever (whatever) enters the digitial information about these products can't get their "Parts" & "Farts" straight.  Here are some fine examples:

Farting Turtle Sets Off Fire Alarm After Eating Brussels Sprouts

A turtle at the Sea Life Centre in Weymouth, UK set off emergency alarms after eating brussels sprouts when it's flatulence created bubbles so big they splashed a sensor. Marine biologist Sarah Leaney raced to the aquarium only to find everything quiet.

"When I got there, all seemed fine. I looked at the tube containing the sensor and saw a turtle beneath it. As I watched, a few large bubbles emerged from beneath him and rose to the surface next to the tube," she said.
   

"I realised what must have happened. We like to give all our animals a treat at Christmas and sprouts are a really healthy choice for sea turtles. But they do produce similar side-effects to those experienced by humans who eat too many sprouts."

Smurf Fart:

1/2 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
1 oz blueberry schnapps
1 splash cream

In a shaker glass, fill with ice, add all ingredients, shake and pour into a shot glass.

Modified Duck Fart:

3/4 oz Crown Royal® Canadian whisky
3/4 oz Bailey's® Irish cream
3/4 oz Kahlua® coffee liqueur

Carefully layer each liquor in the order listed (from top to bottom) into a shot glass. Shoot.

Digg Buries Banned Mythbusters Episode on Girl Farts

"Do Girls Fart?"  banned Mythbusters episode makes Digg homepage and is immediately taken down.

...yet they'll keep up the episode on lighting your farts on fire.  Go figure. 

In case you missed all the hubbub yesterday our post Do Girls Fart? Banned Mythbusters Episode Part 1 made it to the homepage of Digg.  It received a ton of votes and had a bunch of great comments.  The traffic we received as a result of that post was off the chart.  But... its glory was short lived and it was pulled off the site.  According to Digg support it was deemed as lame even though it had close to 240 positive votes and 40 positive comments.  The irony is, is that the Digg post on the fart lighting episode got to stay.

So, we guess the moral of this story is farting girls are nowhere near as interesting as lighting farts... so much so that it was taken off the site. 

On that note... we decided to take a poll:

If you think the post should be back up on Digg it may be possible to un-bury it.  Go to our original post here or click on the image below and give 'er the ol' thumbs up.  It would be a shame for people to miss out on this hilarious un-airable video in lieu of the folks that don't find girl farts amusing.  It's worth a shot at least.

Dog Fart Roller Coaster: The Dog Fart Switchback

Dog Fart Roller Coaster:  And we're not kiddin' either!!  There is a theme park in Denmark called BonBon- Land that has a ride called The Dog Fart Switchback (AKA Hundeprutterutchebane).  This dog fart themed coaster is the original roller coaster of the park.  BonBon-Land is the 4th largest amusement park in Denmark and Denmark's 5th biggest tourist attraction in 2005.  You'll see from the video that the main theme of the park is bodily functions.  Go Denmark!
